Many suppliers have been waiting for it – and now it’s finally here: Hortinex now enables the upload of entire product lists via Excel. This new feature is particularly aimed at companies with large assortments in production horticulture. The advantage: items no longer need to be entered manually one by one.

Thousands of products online in just minutes

The new bulk upload is a decisive step towards more efficiency and user-friendliness on Hortinex. Suppliers can now upload their complete product list using a structured Excel file in the Hortinex format. Whether 50 or 5,000 items – with just a few clicks, the entire assortment becomes visible online.

This innovation is not only a real time-saver but also opens the door for many businesses that previously hesitated to list their products on the platform due to the large number of items.

How it works – step by step

1. Under the tab “My Online Listings,” an Excel template in the Hortinex format is available for download.
2. Suppliers enter their products in the designated columns, including:
• Botanical name
• Size specifications
• Price information
• Image links
• Description texts
• optional fields such as: cultivation type, license note, or trunk height
3. Once completed, the list is uploaded back in the same section.
4. After a successful import, the products automatically appear in the supplier profile – properly formatted and immediately visible to interested buyers.
