Many suppliers have been waiting for it – and now it’s finally here: Hortinex now enables the upload of entire product lists via Excel. This new feature is particularly aimed at companies with large assortments in production horticulture. The advantage: items no longer need to be entered manually one by one.
Thousands of products online in just minutes
The new bulk upload is a decisive step towards more efficiency and user-friendliness on Hortinex. Suppliers can now upload their complete product list using a structured Excel file in the Hortinex format. Whether 50 or 5,000 items – with just a few clicks, the entire assortment becomes visible online.
This innovation is not only a real time-saver but also opens the door for many businesses that previously hesitated to list their products on the platform due to the large number of items.
How it works – step by step
- Under the tab “My Online Listings,” an Excel template in the Hortinex format is available for download.
- Suppliers enter their products in the designated columns, including:
- Botanical name
- Size specifications
- Price information
- Image links
- Description texts
- optional fields such as: cultivation type, license note, or trunk height
- Once completed, the list is uploaded back in the same section.
- After a successful import, the products automatically appear in the supplier profile – properly formatted and immediately visible to interested buyers.
