Hortimat is the proud owner of world ‘s most impressive collection of used horticultural machines and materials, like for
instance harvesting machines, potting machines, CHP installations as well as growing gutters.

In twenty years, Hortimat has become world market leader in the area of used horticultural materials and machines, thanks to its distinctive philosophy. Currently we are active in more than seventy countries all over the world. Hortimat distinguishes itself by providing advice, taking care of the installation on site and adopting a three-month warranty period.

All purchased machines and materials are subjected to a thorough inspection in the well-equipped inspection- and assembly workshop, which is operated by a crew of experienced technical professionals, with expertise in all conceivable disciplines, ranging from electronics and PLC-control to hydraulics, pneumatics and construction work. The machines are completely overhauled, so that they face a second hassle-free life with a new owner. As every user has its own requirements, every overhaul is customized.

In addition to offering horticultural machines and materials, we can also deliver custom build installations.

The Hortimat Formula: Quality in Every Detail

At Hortimat, all our machines follow a fixed process that we call "the Hortimat formula". This process is designed to ensure that every machine that leaves our workshop meets the highest quality standards.

It starts with a thorough steam cleaning to completely clean the machine.

The machine then undergoes construction and refurbishment work to achieve an optical condition almost identical to new.

Worn parts are replaced and the machine is rigorously tested against the customer's actual product to ensure it performs perfectly.
